While I’m in the dressing room, 5 minutes before I come out, my gloves are laced up, I’m breaking my gloves down and pushing the leather in the back of the glove, I’m breaking the middle of the glove so my knuckle can pierce through the leather, feel my knuckle piercing against the tight leather gloves on the Everlast boxing glove.
When I come out I have supreme confidence, I’m scared to death, I’m totally afraid, I’m afraid of everything, I’m afraid of losing, I’m afraid of being humiliated, but I’m totally confident. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get. All during my training I’ve been afraid of this man, I thought this man might be capable of beating me, I’ve dreamed of him beating me, but that is why I always stayed afraid of him. The closer I get to the ring the more confident I get, once I’m in the ring I’m a god, no-one can beat me. I walk around the ring I never take my eyes off my opponent, I keep my eyes on him, even if he’s ready and pumped and can’t wait to get his hands on me as well, I keep my eyes on him, I keep my eyes on him, I keep my eyes on him. Then once I see a chink in his armour, boom, one of his eyes may move and then I know I have him. Then when he comes to the centre of the ring, he still looks at me with his piercing look as if he’s not afraid but he’s already made that mistake when he looked down for that one tenth of a second. I know I have him, he’ll fight hard for the first two or three rounds but I know I already broke his spirit. During the fight I’m supremely confident, I’m moving my head he’s throwing punches, I’m making him miss and I’m countering. I’m hitting him to the body, I’m punching him real hard. I’m punching him and I’m punching him and I know he’s not able to take my punches. One, two, three punches and I’m throwing punches and punches. He goes down he’s out. I’m victorious. I’m Mike Tyson, greatest fighter that ever lived. "Mike Tyson" I’m doing this job, because I want to be the best.
I don’t want to be number two. I want to be number one. I’ve always been like this. And I don’t want to be just number one, I want to be the greatest. That’s my main goal. When I do something, I want to be the best of the best. "Georges St-Pierre" |
Win every time you fight,
That is our first motto, Be ruthless in battle, Kill God if he stands in your way, Kill the Buddha if he stands in your way, Act like this and all is possible, Don't be afraid of any obstacle, Be it God or the Devil, Destroy all obstacles without fear. "muay thai creed" “Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
"Mark Victor Hansen" I am the greatest!!! I'm young; I'm handsome; I'm fast. I can't possible be beat. They all must fall in the round I call. I should be a postage stamp: That's the only way I'll ever get licked. The heavyweight champion of the world should be pretty like me. IT AIN'T BRAGGING IF YOU CAN BACK IT UP.. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. I'm so mean, I make medicine sick. I shook up the world. Me!
I done wrestled with an alligator, I done tussled with a whale; handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in jail; only last week, I murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalised a brick; I'm so mean I make medicine sick. "Muhammad Ali" 75 years old and can still do this |
